  1. Light Blox

I love this product. I have ordered multiple sets that are used in different centers and the kids love them also. Great product!!

  2. These provide great beams of light for multiple optics uses.

Since it is the International Year of Light, I set up optics stations for the first day of class. Three of the stations used Light Blox: one used them with lenses, one with mirrors, and one for color mixing (with the covers off). It is easy to see how the light beams are bent by the curveryd mirrors and lenses. Students can rotate the lenses and mirrors to see how that affects the beams of light. Great tool, easy to use, and appealing to look at.

  3. Great for open-ended investigations and demonstrations!

Loving these light blocks so far, I like how you can project a narrow or wide beam, and how well they work with some simple lenses and mirrors. The magnets on the light blocks are insufficiently strong to hold them to my whiteboard, but they work really well under the document camera with the room lights turned off. Stronger magnets would definitely be a plus, but even without them I am very happy with this product.
